One of the World’s largest forts, Jaisalmer Fort, known as ‘Golden Fort’ or ‘Sonar Quila’, was erected in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal, a Rajput ruler. This historical place in Rajasthan beheld many battles. Major attractions of the fort include Merchant havelis, Lakshminath Mandir, Raj Mahal, 4 grand gateways.
